Description

The 247 LIGHTING jump lead connects the flat vehicle battery to a donor battery when jump-starting. The cable cross-section must suit the engine size and type: larger engines and diesels draw more current when starting and require a larger cross-section.

Order of connection: positive terminal of the flat battery, positive terminal of the donor battery, negative terminal of the donor battery and finally an earth point on the engine of the broken-down vehicle away from the battery. Disconnect in reverse order.
