Description

Hex bolt with shank to DIN 931, in property class 8.8 or 10.9 depending on the version. The unthreaded shank transmits transverse forces in the bore and increases the shear strength of the joint compared with a fully threaded bolt.

When replacing, choose at least the property class of the removed bolt; the marking is on the bolt head. Combine the bolt with a nut of matching property class and observe the tightening torque for the respective property class.
