Description

Self-locking hex nut to DIN 985 for small bolted joints. The plastic clamping ring increases friction in the thread and prevents the nut from loosening due to vibration.

Property class 8 matches bolts up to 8.8. The bolt must protrude beyond the nut so that the clamping ring takes full effect. The locking effect diminishes after repeated loosening; then use a new nut.
