Locking eye, for riveting, for bolt lock
Lock keeper for bar locks, riveted to the frame or door post. It forms the counter-bearing into which the locking bar engages when closing and holds the door or flap in the closed position.
When replacing, note the rivet pattern and the engagement depth of the existing lock. Align the keeper so that the locking bar enters without jamming, and only then rivet it in place.
