Description
Eye bolt with external thread that is screwed into a matching internal thread as a lashing point or lifting eye, for example on trailers, vans or workshop equipment.
Screw the bolt in fully until the collar sits flat on the surface; the internal thread must be deep enough. The eye bolt takes the highest load when pulled in the direction of the bolt axis; with an angled pull the permissible load drops, and a pull at right angles to the plane of the eye must be avoided.
