Description

Eye nut with internal thread as a lashing or lifting point, for example on trailers and transport vehicles. The nut is screwed onto a threaded bolt or threaded rod of the same thread size.

Screw the eye nut on fully until the contact face sits flat. It takes the highest load when pulled in the direction of the thread axis; with an angled pull the permissible load drops considerably, and a pull at right angles to the plane of the eye must be avoided.
