Description
The wire rope with eye load hook is a galvanised steel rope for winches and for pulling and securing loads. A load hook with an eye is fitted at the rope end.
When replacing a winch rope, the diameter and length must suit the winch: the diameter depends on the drum and rope attachment, the length on the drum capacity. The rope should be wound in even layers under light load so that it does not dig into the lower turns. Work gloves should be worn when handling the rope, as broken wires can cause cuts.
