Description

The spiral extension cable extends the 13-pin connection between towing vehicle and trailer: the plug goes into the socket of the towing vehicle, the trailer plug into the coupling socket at the other end. Eight of the thirteen contacts are assigned.

With eight assigned contacts, the lighting functions including the reversing lamp are usually transmitted, but permanent live and charging line are not. Supplying a caravan with power via these contacts requires a fully assigned version.
