About Rolko
Rolko (Rolko Kohlbecher AG) is an internationally active specialist in wheels, castors and components for mobility and transport technology. Based in Borgholzhausen, the company has made a name for itself by developing innovative tyre solutions that are used above all where reliability and freedom from maintenance are the top priorities. In the trailer sector, Rolko is known primarily as a supplier of high-quality replacement tyres and specialised castors for transport accessories.
Puncture resistance and materials expertise
A core technical area for Rolko is the use of polyurethane (PU) and special rubber compounds. These materials solve the classic problem of air-filled tyres: gradual loss of pressure and susceptibility to punctures.
- Puncture-proof wheels (Rolko-SmartSoft): These wheels combine the ride comfort of a pneumatic tyre with the puncture resistance of a solid rubber tyre. They are ideal for jockey wheels or sack trucks used on uneven ground.
- Transport and swivel castors: For heavy loads under workshop trailers or mobile bodies, Rolko offers castors with high load capacities and low rolling resistance.
- Corrosion resistance: Many Rolko wheel bearings and rims are specifically designed for outdoor use and offer excellent protection against moisture and dirt.
- Versatile axle fittings: Rolko wheels offer a high degree of compatibility, as they are available in a wide range of hub widths and axle diameters.
The smart choice for freedom from maintenance
Converting your trailer or transport equipment to Rolko components is an investment in operational reliability. Never again a flat tyre on the jockey wheel at the worst possible moment – Rolko's PU technology makes it possible. Thanks to precise manufacturing, the wheels also run extremely smoothly, which makes manoeuvring heavy loads noticeably easier.
