Description

The taper seat wheel bolt is a wheel bolt for vehicle wheels whose rim holes have a conical countersink. When tightened, the conical collar centres the wheel in the holes.

Besides thread and across-flats size, the shank length is important for the selection; it must suit the rim thickness and the thread depth of the hub. Ball seat and taper seat bolts are not interchangeable. Tighten the bolts crosswise to the specified torque.
