Description

The KNOTT brake drum is a spare part for the KNOTT wheel brake 16-1369/1. The drum is designed for a bearing arrangement with two tapered roller bearings.

When the drum is changed, the tapered roller bearings including outer races and the shaft seal are usually renewed as well. Bearing play is adjusted via the castle nut, which is then secured with a split pin. Brake drums are renewed axle by axle.
