Description

The WINTERHOFF WW 8-G+SB+HAL is a coupling head for trailers with a square drawbar tube. The coupling connects the trailer to the tow ball of the towing vehicle. The hole pattern allows either vertical or horizontal bolting, so the coupling fits drawbar tubes with different bore positions.

Versions with a different horizontal hole spacing exist under the same type designation; the hole spacing on the existing drawbar should therefore be measured and compared with the title. The permitted gross weight of the coupling must be at least equal to that of the trailer, and the nose weight must not be exceeded in use. New bolts and self-locking nuts should be used for fitting and tightened to the torque specified by the manufacturer.
