Description

Pin with chain and spring cotter for detachable connection of components, for example on brackets or clevises. The spring cotter secures the pin in the bore, and the chain links both parts so that they are not lost when released.

Fasten the free end of the chain to the vehicle or equipment so that the pin stays to hand after it has been pulled. Before buying, measure the bore diameter at the mounting, as neighbouring diameters are hard to tell apart by eye.
