Description

The locking tube secures a gas spring in the extended position against unintentional retraction. It is fitted over the piston rod and thus blocks the stroke of the spring.

Series and stroke of the tube must match the gas spring, for example GF8/19 or GF14/28. The first number of the series indicates the diameter of the piston rod, the second that of the cylinder. Remove the tube again before closing the supported flap or cover.

This version differs from the other variants in the range by: GF14/28, for 400 mm stroke galvanised steel.
