Ball stud M6 x 12 mm, overall length 26 mm, ball Ø 10 mm, across flats 8/13, galvanised steel
The galvanised ball stud is screwed in and forms the pivot point for a ball socket, for example at the connection of a gas spring. Together with the socket it forms a ball joint that allows angular movement.
The two across-flats sizes are used for screwing in the stud and for locking it with a nut. The ball diameter must match the ball socket; choose the thread length so that the stud engages deep enough in the component.
