Description

The galvanised ball socket is the counterpart to the ball stud and is screwed onto a gas spring or linkage via its internal thread. Together with the stud it forms a ball joint that allows angular movement.

The version without a safety clip is held on the ball by the socket alone. Where vibrations or tensile forces could release the connection, a version with a safety clip is suitable. The variants differ in effective length.
