Description
The ball stud is the connecting part for gas springs with a ball socket. It is screwed by its thread onto the flap or frame; the ball socket of the gas spring is then pressed onto the ball.
The effective length determines the distance of the pivot point from the mounting surface and thus affects the installed length and opening angle of the gas spring. When replacing, therefore choose the same effective length and ball diameter.
