Turnbuckle nut, M10 x 45 mm, across flats 16
The hexagonal turnbuckle nut connects two threaded rods, one with a right-hand and one with a left-hand thread, and changes their distance when turned. It is used on linkages, guy lines and tension connections whose length must be adjustable afterwards.
Thanks to the hexagonal shape, it can be turned with an open-ended or ring spanner even when the linkage is under tension. After adjustment, secure both threaded rods against the turnbuckle nut with lock nuts.
