Description

The SCHLEGL compensating bar distributes the pulling force of the brake rod evenly to the brake cables of both wheel brakes. It is connected via clevises or spring clip pins.

After fitting, adjust the brakes so that the bar is roughly at right angles to the direction of pull when the brake is applied. If it stands at an angle, the wheel brakes pull unevenly and the trailer may pull to one side when braking.
