Description

The SCHLEGL compensating bar sits in the brake rod system of the trailer and distributes the pulling force evenly to the brake cables of both wheel brakes. Three bores take the connections.

When replacing, compare the bore diameters with the existing bolts or clevises. After fitting, adjust the brake system so that the bar is roughly at right angles to the direction of pull when the brake is applied; a bar standing at an angle indicates unevenly adjusted wheel brakes.
