HAHN compensating bar, bore Ø 8/8/8 mm, length 78 mm
The HAHN compensating bar distributes the braking force from the brake rod evenly to the two brake cables leading to the wheel brakes. The rod engages in the middle bore, the cables in the outer bores.
This version is the short, heavy-duty variant; bars with the same bores and thinner material are also available. Overall length and thickness are decisive for selection, as the distance between the outer bores determines the cable compensation. When replacing, check the bores and the associated bolts for wear.
