Description

KNOTT KFL27-A overrun coupling for braked trailers, with K27-A coupling head for 50 mm tow balls and without jockey wheel bracket. When the towing vehicle brakes, the trailer runs up and pushes in the drawbar; this movement is transmitted to the wheel brakes via the brake rods.

Overrun coupling, brake rods and wheel brakes are matched to one another; the weight range must cover the trailer's gross vehicle weight. The nose weight at the coupling point must not exceed the value specified for the unit. After installation, the brake system is adjusted, starting at the wheel brakes and only then at the brake rods.
