Description

KNOTT KFL14-A overrun coupling in flange version for braked trailers, with KK14-B coupling head and a jockey wheel bracket at the rear. When the trailer runs up, the unit transmits the thrust force to the wheel brakes via the brake rods.

Overrun coupling, brake rods and wheel brakes are matched to one another; the weight range must cover the trailer's gross vehicle weight. Before replacement, the hole pattern dimensions A, B and C on the drawbar should be measured and compared with the specification table. After installation, the brake system is adjusted, starting at the wheel brakes and only then at the brake rods.
