Description

KNOTT KF20-A overrun coupling in flange version for braked trailers, supplied with K20-B coupling head and without jockey wheel bracket. When the towing vehicle brakes, the trailer runs up and pushes in the drawbar; this movement is transmitted to the wheel brakes via the brake rods.

Overrun coupling, brake rods and wheel brakes are matched to one another; the weight range must cover the trailer's gross vehicle weight. Before replacement, the hole pattern dimensions A, B and C on the drawbar should be measured and compared with the specification table. After installation, the brake system is adjusted, starting at the wheel brakes and only then at the brake rods.
