Description

The drawbar with overrun damper is a replacement part for BPW overrun couplings ZAV 1,6-1 and ZAV 2,0-1. The integrated damper damps the overrun movement during braking so that the trailer does not run onto the towing vehicle abruptly.

A faulty damper shows itself through jolts when moving off and braking; in that case replace the drawbar and damper together. Compare the type designation and dimensions with the removed unit beforehand and adjust the brake after fitting.
