Description

Drawbar as a replacement part to fit PEITZ overrun couplings of the PAV/SR series in version X. The drawbar transmits towing and braking forces between towing vehicle and trailer: when the trailer overruns, it slides into the housing and actuates the brake rod.

Selection is based on the type designation of the overrun coupling including the suffix X, as the versions without X take a shorter drawbar. Before replacement, compare the diameter and length of the removed drawbar and check the bellows and overrun damper for damage.
