Description

The KNOTT drawbar is the moving core part of the overrun coupling: it carries the coupling head at the front and, when the trailer runs up against the towing vehicle, slides into the housing and actuates the brake rod via the transmission lever. It belongs in the KFG35 and KR35 overrun couplings.

Unlike on the smaller sizes, the bores for the coupling head are arranged horizontally rather than crosswise. The coupling head is bolted on via the hole pattern; hole spacing and bore diameter must match the existing coupling head. When replacing it, check the bearing bushes in the housing and the overrun damper for wear.
