Description

The drawbar, also known as the sliding tube or push rod, is a replacement part for GRÜMER overrun couplings AK 0908, AK 1308 and AK 2008. It transfers pulling and braking forces between the towing vehicle and the trailer.

Wear or corrosion on the drawbar shows up as play, rattling noises and reduced braking effect. When replacing, also check the bearing bushes, lubricate the sliding surfaces and readjust the brake system after fitting.
