Description

WAP drawbar with built-in overrun damper for the WAP 15/15.1, 15/15.3 and 15 AS overrun couplings. The drawbar transmits the overrun force during braking, while the damper cushions the movement and prevents jerky brake response.

A defective overrun damper shows up as knocks when pulling away and jerky braking. When replacing, also check the bearing bushes and bellows and then readjust the brake rod.
