Description

The SCHLEGL overrun damper fits the SCHLEGL overrun couplings SFV25, SFV30 and SFH27. It damps the overrun movement of the drawbar assembly during braking and prevents jerky braking of the trailer.

The dampers of the different series differ in length and damping force; before ordering, check the type designation on the type plate. Hard knocking when braking or moving off and traces of oil indicate a worn damper. When fitting, do not swap the housing and rod ends.
