Description

The SCHLEGL overrun damper is designed for the large SCHLEGL overrun couplings SFV35 and SFH35. It damps the overrun movement during braking so that the trailer brakes without jolts.

Compared with the dampers for the smaller sizes, it is longer and stronger and has a larger eye; a damper of another size therefore does not fit. Replace it if the drawbar assembly knocks hard or oil is lost, and note the orientation of housing and piston rod when fitting.
