Description

The SCHLEGL overrun damper belongs in the SCHLEGL overrun couplings SF, SQR, SFV and SFH of size 14. It damps the overrun movement during braking and prevents the trailer from braking jerkily.

Signs of wear are hard knocking of the drawbar assembly when braking or moving off and traces of oil on the damper. The dampers are matched to the weight range for each size; before ordering, check the type designation on the type plate and do not swap the housing and rod ends when fitting.
