Description

The SCHLEGL overrun damper is intended for SCHLEGL overrun couplings SF, SFV, SFVK and SFH of size 20. It slows the overrun movement during deceleration so that the trailer brakes evenly.

If the drawbar assembly knocks hard when braking or moving off, or if oil leaks, the damper must be replaced. Separate dampers are available for other sizes; therefore check the type designation of the overrun coupling and note the orientation of housing and piston rod when fitting.
