Description

Overrun damper as a replacement for the damper of the PEITZ overrun coupling PAV/S 2,0. When braking, the trailer runs onto the towing vehicle and pushes the drawbar in; the damper slows this movement so that the brake applies evenly.

The housing and piston rod have eyes with different bores. Abrupt overrun when lifting off the accelerator is a typical sign of a worn damper; compare the type plate and the old part before replacing.
