Description

Overrun damper for HAHN overrun couplings of the series AB 10/12/15.1 K, ABV 12.3 and AEV 3 A 12.1/16.1. It slows the thrust of the drawbar and prevents the trailer from pushing abruptly against the towing vehicle when braking.

As HAHN fitted dampers of different length and connection type to similar models, read the type designation on the type plate and measure the removed part for comparison. If the drawbar can be pushed in without noticeable resistance, the damping has worn out.
