Description

The overrun damper is a replacement part for the AL-KO overrun couplings 161 R/S and 251 R/S. The gas damper damps the movement of the drawbar during braking so that the trailer does not run on abruptly.

Both connections are designed as an eye. When selecting, note the type designation of the overrun coupling, as the dampers differ in diameter. Hard running-on and knocks when braking indicate a defective damper; after replacement, check the function of the overrun brake.
