Description

The KNOTT overrun damper dampens the overrun movement in the overrun coupling so that the trailer does not run jerkily onto the towing vehicle when braking. The housing is fastened via a thread, the piston rod has an eye.

It is used in several KNOTT overrun couplings of the 3500 kg class; listed are KFGL35-A, KFG, KR, KHD35 and KRV35-A/HV. The dampers in this class differ in length and connection. Before replacing, therefore check the type designation of the overrun coupling and compare the length of the old part.
