Description

KNOTT overrun damper for the KF, KR and KRV 7,5-C overrun couplings. It damps the movement of the drawbar in the overrun coupling so that the brake does not engage abruptly when the trailer runs up and the trailer does not start to surge.

Selection depends on the type of overrun coupling, the weight class, the retracted and extended lengths and the connections on the housing and rod. A damper that leaks or can be pushed together without noticeable resistance needs replacing.
