Description

The ELLEBI overrun damper damps the movement of the drawbar in the overrun coupling when the trailer runs on to the towing vehicle during braking. As a result, the overrun brake comes on smoothly and without jolts.

A faulty damper shows itself through jolts when braking and pulling away or through traces of oil on the housing. It is identified by the reference number of the fitted damper and the type designation of the overrun coupling.
