Description

Overrun damper as a replacement for PEITZ overrun couplings AEV 20 and AEV 25, with each variant assigned to one of the two types. The damper slows the thrust of the drawbar when the trailer runs onto the towing vehicle during braking.

The eyes on the housing and piston rod have different bores, so the damper fits in one installation position only. Before replacing, read the type designation on the type plate and measure the bores on the old part.
