Description

Overrun damper as a replacement for the damper in PEITZ overrun couplings AER 20, also referred to as AER 2.0. When braking, the drawbar slides into the overrun coupling; the damper slows this movement and prevents the trailer from pushing abruptly against the towing vehicle.

Both ends are designed as eyes. Abrupt overrun when lifting off the accelerator and a drawbar that can be pushed in without resistance with the trailer uncoupled indicate a worn damper.
