Description

Overrun damper for GRÜMER overrun couplings AWS 2020 and AWUS 2020. It damps the movement of the drawbar as the trailer runs on and prevents the brake from engaging abruptly.

For the same types there is a version of different length for trailers up to year of manufacture 1996. Before ordering, therefore check the year of manufacture on the type plate and measure the distance between the eye centres on the old part.

Abrupt overrun when lifting off the accelerator is a typical sign of a worn damper.
