Description

The overrun damper is a replacement part for AL-KO and BPW overrun couplings of types ZAF 2,8-2 and ZAF 3,0-3. It damps the movement of the drawbar during braking and prevents hard knocks when the trailer runs on.

The type designation is on the type plate of the overrun coupling. If the drawbar can be pushed in without noticeable resistance, the damper is worn out. After replacement, check the function of the overrun brake.
