Description

The AL-KO shock absorber is the overrun damper for the AL-KO overrun coupling 200 V. It damps the overrun movement during braking and prevents the trailer from running abruptly onto the towing vehicle.

It is connected via a thread on the body and via an eye on the piston rod. Traces of oil on the damper or a noticeable knocking of the drawbar during braking indicate a worn damper.
