Description

Overrun damper as a replacement for BPW towing units of the ZAF and ZAAQ series. It dampens the movement of the drawbar when the trailer runs up and pulls away and prevents the overrun brake from responding jerkily.

The versions differ in length, eye size and weight class and are each assigned to one size. A damper from another ZAF stage often has the same eyes but a different length. When replacing, therefore compare the type designation of the towing unit and the retracted and extended length of the old part.
