Description

The spherical-seat nuts are wheel nuts for rims with a spherical seat in the fixing holes. They are screwed onto wheel studs with a fine thread and centre the wheel via the spherical seat.

Spherical and conical seats are not interchangeable: the seat shape must match the countersink of the rim, otherwise the nut does not bear over its full surface and can work loose. Determine the thread and across-flats size from the wheel stud or the old nut. Tighten wheel nuts crosswise to the specified torque and retighten after the first few kilometres.
