Description

The taper seat nut fastens wheels on wheel studs. When tightened, its conical collar pulls into the countersink of the rim and centres the wheel.

Besides the thread, the seat shape is decisive for the selection: rims with a ball seat or flat contact face require a different nut, even if the thread is the same. Tighten the nuts crosswise to the specified torque and re-tighten them after a short distance.
