Description

The KNOTT repair plate is welded onto the damaged or corroded brake backing plate of the KNOTT RB 20-2425/1 wheel brake. This means the backing plate does not have to be replaced completely.

Before welding, remove the brake shoes and all attached parts from the backing plate and clean the weld area down to bare metal. After welding, protect the surface against corrosion. Welding work on brake parts should be carried out by a specialist workshop.
