Description

The fine-thread castle nuts secure the wheel bearing arrangement on the stub axle of trailers. A split pin passed through a castellation and the cross hole in the stub axle prevents the nut from coming loose.

The versions differ in thread diameter, overall height and across-flats size; determine the correct size on the removed nut or on the stub axle. Set the bearing play as specified by the axle manufacturer and always use a new split pin.
