Description

The compact bearing is a double-row angular contact ball bearing for the wheel bearing arrangement on trailer axles. As a closed unit, it takes up radial and axial loads together. It is used in wheel hubs of trailer axles from various manufacturers; the DAC designation states the inner and outer diameter of the bearing.

Selection is based on the inner and outer diameter and the width of the fitted bearing. When pressing it in, apply force via the outer ring only and tighten the axle nut to the torque specified by the axle manufacturer. Do not refit a bearing that has been pressed out.
